Welcome to SPFAST.org.
The home of State Police Family Assistance and Support for Troopers and their Families. SPFAST is a charity organization that has been started by enlisted members and is for the benefit of both active and retired members and their immediate families.
SPFAST is a 501 (c)(3) charity
UPDATE:
On October 1, 2009, the NJSECC pledge cards were sent out with your bi-weekly paychecks. We are again asking for your generosity to help raise monies for SPFAST by pledging an amount per pay period. The NJSECC code this year for SPFAST is #6730. A template of the pledge card and a blank pledge card can be obtained by clicking on the below links. If you know of a Trooper who fits the criteria established and needs some assistance, the information along with the required forms are located on the website as well. SPFAST has been deemed a non- profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the IRS (Tax Exempt Status #20-5108609) so your donations are tax deductible. Once completed the pledge cards should be returned via inter-office mail to Lt. Scott at Labor Relations.
With your help over the past two years, we have assisted both active and retired Troopers and their families, and would like to continue providing assistance for years and years to come. This is a very worthy cause and the list of Troopers, assigned throughout the Division of State Police, who have been recipients of this organization keeps growing. Many of the Troopers that have received assistance from SPFAST indicated that they never imagined such a catastrophic event to hit their family. On top of that, having to deal with the financial burden brings about additional stress to an already complicated situation.
Once again, I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to this organization in the past, and the future. The SP family has always come together in times of need. Your donations will again be utilized to help fellow Troopers and their families. If anyone has any questions feel free to contact Ron Kirby , SPFAST President, at 732-501-1500.
